Speakers College 4: Changing Brains – Changing Minds

Speakers College 4: Changing Brains – Changing Minds

Ian Jarvis (from the UK) has spent the last few years visiting the city of Bhopal to volunteer in two clinics, Sambhavna and Chingari, for survivors and victims of the disaster of Bhopal way back in 1984. It is still classed as the worst industrial disaster the world has known because of the thousands of people that died and the thousands more that have been living and dying with debilitating health effects in the years since.
Sharing many examples*, he will argue that it still has relevance to us and asks why industrial accidents and unethical activity still happen too frequently in our world today. Why are we not learning the lessons that the past can teach? There is much talk and writing about corporate social responsibility (CSR) yet little seems to change.
Using his 30 years as an IT professional and adding his unique experience in Bhopal he opened his eyes to ask questions for all of us, to look at patterns and commonalities of incidents and disasters around the world.
He argues that we CAN do better and that speakers and educators must be instrumental in this, giving you guidance of how you can engage your clients.

The Telephone Assassin is on a mission to get businesses talking again and stop people from hiding behind their emails and social media. Helping clients to get in front of more of their ideal customers and getting more business from their existing customers. Anthony has made calls for a huge range of business and when he found himself as the sales or marketing manager for 5 different companies all at the same time, he realised that his growing waiting list of clients needed to be serviced too. After working closely with an NLP master trainer he was able to teach people to “fish for themselves” as he started to really understand the power of his communication style, so combined with the structure he had developed, Anthony began to run a Telemarketing Masterclass.
